we must reduce overhead here at the cafe. This argument is flawed for a number of reasons. Primarily, it is based on the unwarranted assumption that if the the working hours are cut , it will help save money rendering the conclusion that it is the best way to save money flawed.
The argument has show no justification for the assumption that if the working hours are cut it will save more cost , as it is might be true that cutting the work hours might save some expenses the argument never said it is the only reason that is causing the establishment not to be able to save enough money money for operations. if the work hour on Monday is set to open by 8.a.m and their is no sales within the hour because many customers who use to branch the store resumes work at 7 their by giving them the time to branch on their way but now the opening hour has been shifted to few hours later makes them to patronize another store. also cutting the hour might just no be the solution that is required, what if one of the workers at the store steals from the cash registry after during work each day, no matter how many hours is cut there still wont be no changes in saving as long as the worker still works in the company.
The argument also fails to answer some question, if this approach has ever worked for anyone before or if it has worked for anyone before what is the
assurance that it will work for this particular store. also if cutting the working hour will not have adverse effect on customers patronising this store.
the argument claim without warrant cutting back time will save wages, utility , employee wages, whereas there might just be an increment in the utility been around that time and also the government might just decide to raise minimum wage and hence no money saved than before.
In conclusion, cutting back on the number of work hours might not be the only reasonable solution to save money therefore rendering the conclusion flawed,
