The given maps demonstrate the changes observed in an island for tourism.
Before the renovation, the island was basically remote with little trees in the west and larger in the eastern areas. The fascinating thing is that they remained rooted even after construction. Hence leaving the nature unscathed. Also, a beach was located in the extreme western region which was later utilised for swimming.
On the other hand, after construction there was accommodation provision in the western and middle of the 250 metre island. It included merely six houses located to the west of the Reception and nine to the eastern side.
All the residential places were interconnected by footpath arranged in circles. In addition to this, a restaurant connected to reception via vehicle track was also set up. This in turn, was linked to houses by similar track. To the south of the reception a T shaped pier was formed to encourage boating.
So, overall the abandoned island has completely thrived to a successful tourist spot with various leisure and recreational activities.
