The bar chart illustrates the proportion of Australian who exercising regularly divided by gender and in six age groups in 2010.
Overall, men did scheduled sports in less than women in all groups except juniors from 15 to 24 which was more than females.
The first group in 15 to 24 which male’s percent stood at 52.8 percent while females by 5 percent did fewer activities. this trend changes for the rest of the groups where women surpassed and about half of 25 to 34 years were did an everyday workout, while men witnessed a 10 percent reduction in comparison with the previous group.
The overall trend of sport-girls increased to 53.3 percent for 45 to 54 years and then dropped for the next two groups. 65 years and elders have the least participation among females by 47.1 percent which was approximately equal to males. The trend of males in completely vice versa of women reduced to 39.5 percent in 35 to 44 years old group and then rose. In this trend, they never reached the women participation percentage.
