Essay topics:

The bar chart shows the number of visitors to three London museums between 2007 and 2012

The bar graph gives information on the annual number of visits (in millions) to the National Gallery, the Victoria and Albert museum and the British museum from 2007 to 2012

Overall, it is evident that the population of tourists who visited Victoria and Albert were equal in two consecutive years, however, National Gallery was the most popular site in the stipulated time frame.

In the year 2007, about 6 million individuals went to National Gallery which was the least toured museum in the year, as compared to about 7 and 8 million individuals who visited British and Victoria and Albert respectively.

British museum experienced a sharp decline in foot traffic (6 million) in both 2008 and 2009, which was then followed by a steady increase that reached its peak in 2012, marking 14 million foot counts yearly. The growth trend is obvious in the National Gallery visitors log which firstly showed 6 million individuals in 2007 but more than doubled population that soared to 16 million in 2012.
