The bar graph compares the proportions of New Zealand volunteers by their current family types. The pie chart provides information about how many volunteers were allocated to in charge different roles in sport organizations in 2010.
Overall, the couples with dependent children took up a major part of the volunteer number, meanwhile, those who have kids but no partner were the lowest. Most people would support as a coach, instructor or teacher, and only a smart number work in medical support.
There is no clear connection between the graphs. About half of the volunteers were couples with small child, and this number was almost doubled the one with no children with 26.9%. Single parent, as the lowest group in term of participant, contributed to the total number of volunteer about 10%, 2% lower than other households group.
Regarding the pie chart, a large majority of people took the role of instructors and administrator, with 206.000 people and 158,600 people respectively. Followed were the jobs that required volunteers to work on the actual field. To be precise, for scorer or timekeeper roles, there were 128.000 volunteers while the number of referee and umpire was slightly lower with 98.300 people. Medical support and others was the lowest in term of supporters, only 62.700.
