The chart below gives information about how families in one country spent their weekly income in 1968 and in 2018.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The graph given compares how the households in a particular country spent their income per week in the period of 50 years.

Generally, it is obvious that in 1968, the percentage of income spent on food had the highest figure while the proportion of earnings dispensed to leisure had the peak number in 2018.

In detail, it can easily be observed that the figure of some fields, namely food, housing and leisure, had remarkable disparities. The percentage of revenues allocated for leisure and housing shot up in the period from 1968 to 2018, about 16% and 8% respectively. The figure for that of food is more negatively correlated, it went into a nosedive, about 17% decrease. When it comes to the remaining categories, the figures of them are more equally represented, the discrepancy among them is not outstanding except for the proportion of income spent on clothing and footwear, it remains unchanged through that period.

To sum up l, the average spending per week on the fundamental things in family units in specific country overwhelmed other fields.
