The given bar chart illustrates the proportion of Canadians using multiple social networking sites in two years 2014 and 2015.
Overall, it can be seen that the number of one site internet users was highest in both years, while the opposite was true for Five sites. In addition, there was an increase in almost all kinds of sites that the Canadian people used in 2014 and 2015, except for No sites and One site.
In 2014, the percentage of people using social media comprised 36%, which was the highest number of users compare to other social networks at the same time. After one year, the figure for One site users saw a plummet of 8% but continuing to be the major site, accounted for nearly a third of users. A similar trend was experienced for Canadians who did not use any social networking sites, from 22% to 21%.
By contrast, the numbers of people using social two sites, three sites, four sites, and five sites all rose over the given time period. The proportion of users Two sites was almost the same at 23% and 24% in 2014 and 2015, respectively. The number of users Three sites improved slightly, between 12% in 2014 and 16% in 2015. Similarly, a minimal increase was witnessed in the figure for Canadians using Four sites and Five sites.
