The chart below gives information on the percentage of British people giving money to charity by age range for the years 1990 and 2010.
Summarize the information by selectin and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Shown is the bar chart delineating the proportion of British donors categorized in five distinct age groups in two discrete years: 1990 and 2010.
It is perceptible that the percentage of people giving money in the age groups under 50 years old plunged over the years except for the over-50s. Moreover, the percentage of the 51 to 65s was reported the most in the later year while the reverse was true for the age group of 18 to 25.
In the 1990s, the rate of people aged 36 to 50 donated to charity accounted for 42%, which was the highest percentage, followed by those from 51 to 65 and over 65 with 35% and 32% respectively. By contrast, only 18% of young people from 18 to 25 making donation was less than that of the age range of 26 to 35 by 13%.
After 20 years, the proportion of people from 51 to 65 years old giving money nudged slightly with 39% reported; a similar pattern was documented in the oldest age range with 35% which was also the figure of the 36 to 50-year-olds due to a plunge in size. Meanwhile, the year 2010 witnessed a diminution in the rate of people donating to 24% of the 26 to 35s and 7% of the youngest.
