The chart below shows the amount of leisure time enjoyed by men and women of different employment status.

A glance at the bar graph shows the comparison of males and females spent their free time based on their employment status from 1998 to 1999, measured in hours.

It could be seen clearly that the figure for both men and women without job enjoyed more free time while the one for employed men rarely had free time like other figures.

Either unemployed and retired men spent their free time just above 80 hours per week while the figure for women had just slightly under it, about 78 hours, a decrease of 2. This was by far the highest amount of leisure time spent. This following by, the figure for housewives with under 60 hours spend in a week, and females who employed witnessed a few free time with a half hours.

A closer look at the bar chart presents none of the men with part-time job spent their time while the figure for male who worked full-time spent almost half hours every seven days.
