The bar chart depicts the number of hours spent leisurely by men and women per week of different employment status during 1998 to 1999.

It is clear from the chart that maximum leisure time was spent by unemployed and retired males and females, and there was no man who worked as a part time employee or housemaker. Also, men seemed to had more leisure hours than their counterpart in all types of employment.

Those who were recruited as a full time employees were tend to had less leisure time as compared to the rest of categories, where about 44 hours weekly were spent by men and women spent 6 hours less than them. Unemployed and retired section of people used to spend almost similar time in leisure activities, which was around 85 hours for men and 78 hours for women. Weekly 40 hours were accounted by part time employed females, and 50 hours were accounted by housewives, where men were not present.
