The bar graph illustrates the amount of money spent on fast food in Britain by three different income groups in 1990. Also, the line graph provides information on consumption of fast food in the UK within the period of 1970 and 1990.
The preference for fast food fluctuated in the groups. Hamburger, for instance, prevailed in both the high and average income groups since over 40 and 30 pence spent per person weekly; the second most preferable fast food was pizza with 18 pence in the high income group, whereas fish and chips was found to be the second with 25 pence in the average group. In contrast, the most favorite fast food was fish and chips in the low income group; where over 15 pence spent on the food weekly per person, while 13 and 8 pence spent on hamburger and pizza, respectively.
The line graph shows that consumption of hamburgers and fish and chips increased substantially from under 100 grams in 1970 to 300 and 500 grams in 1990, respectively. Consumption of pizza, in contrast, decreased from 300 grams in 1970 to just over 200 grams at the end of the given period.
The infographics indicate fish and chips was favorite fast food in the UK in 1990 since 500 grams of the food were consumed per person weekly.
