The chart below shows the expenditure of two countries on consumer goods in 2010.
Depicted by the chart is the information about how much money (pounds sterling) was spent by two different countries on five distinct items by 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that people living in France and the UK spent much more money on cars than other consumer goods. Additionally, UK had a much higher number of in almost all goods expenditure in comparison with France.
In term of the UK outlay, the figures for cars and books were the two highest, accounting for just over 450,000 and 400,000 severally. This was followed by cameras and computers which had a similar level at around 350,000. Meanwhile, least money was spent on perfume, merely at just under 150,000.
Turning to the France expenditure, 400,000 was spent on cars –the maximum recorded- which was followed by computers, at just below 350,000. In addition, the citizens spent 300,000 on books, while the remaining goods (parfume and cameras) had the lowest figure, noted at 200,000 and 150,000 consecutively.
