It is clear that UK citizens' spending was significantly higher that their France counterparts. The significant difference in expenditure was seen on cameras and books. However, perfume and computers were slightly more popular in France compared to the UK.
In terms of cars, UK citizens spent about 450000 pounds on this as opposed to around 400000 pounds in France. UK spending was also higher in books and cameras (around 450000 pounds and 350000 pounds) compared to France expenditure (just 300000 pounds and 150000 pounds respectively). However, the biggest gap was seen on cameras. with UK's figure for camera almost doubled that of France.
On the other hand, the amount of money on the remaining goods was higher in France. France's spending on computers was recorded at exactly 360,000 pounds, slightly higher than that of UK (350,000 pounds). Similarly, France's figure for perfume was 200,000 pounds, with the equivalent figure for the UK was almost 150,000 pounds, respectively.
