The line graph illustrates information about fuel used for transport in countries in Europe compared to the EU average for the period 2009 to 2010.
Overall, Slovakia and Spain had both decreased and the rest of the countries did the opposite. As compared to the EU average, it was very high, but Slovakia had a lower fuel use percentage than the EU average.
Slovakia has had a very high percentage of fuel use, in 2009 it was almost 9% but decreased in 2010 and only had about 6.5%. And like Slovakia, Spain had also decreased from nearly 4% to only 3% in the period from 2009 to 2010.
In contrast, Italy, France and Germany all had a percentage increase in fuel use between 2009 and 2010. The most visible was Greece with its fuel percentage rising from a little over 1% in 2009 but upped to 2% in 2010. In addition, the Italian had also increased but it is quite small, only from 4.5% to slightly more than 5%. France was only from nearly 4% to more than 4%.
