The bar graph compares how many incidents and injuries per 100 million pmt happened in some different transportation types in 2002.
it is clear that the number of incidents and injuries in demand respond was highest. it is also noticeable that the figure for incidents was higher than that of injuries in all transportation type.
As regards incidents, there were 225 per 100 million pmt in demand respond, whivh was highest number, compared to only 20 per 100 million pmt in commuter rail. The figure for light rail was 76 per 100 million pmt, which was equal to that in bus. meanwhile, there were 51 per 100 million pmt in heavy rail.
In terms of injuries, 173 per 100 million pmt happened in demand respond, which was over 10 times higher than the figure for commuter rail and light rail were nearly equal, at 35 and 39 per 100 million pmt respectively. meanwhile, there were 66 per 100 million pmt happening in bus.
