The pie chart illustrating the latest survey of the causes behind the reduced attendance in the UK schools. Overall, the chart shows the main five explanations by percentage. The explanations are bullying, peer group pressure, lack of school discipline, both parents working and, upbringing. While, the reasons are divided into two categories, parents and peers.
Furthermore, from the parent's related view, it is displaying clearly that the heaviest effect is coming from the situation of both parent is working which takes 40% of total causes. Whilst the least effect lays on upbringing (5%), which usually depends not only on themselves but also on their parents. In addition, the second reason somehow belongs to the school, but at the same time, parents' attention and care for their children is affecting. It is the lack of discipline. At last, the parent related issue is taking 70% of the overall reason.
Besides the parent's role and its negative effect, the other factors also making the students attend less in school which is issues related to peers. The bullying and peer pressure together taking 30% of overall attendance causes.
