The given pie chart indicates the outcomes of a recent survey on the causes of poor school attendance in the United Kingdom schools. Overall, the most common reason why students attend schools poorly is that both their parents work while the least one is because of their upbringing.

It is apparent that both parents working accounted for 40% of total causes listed in the chart, which was the highest data, followed by insufficient school discipline with just a quarter. Also, it can comparatively be seen that the figure for both parents working reason is 8 times as high as that of upbringing cause. The percentage of students attending school in a poor way because of their upbringing accounted for just merely 5%.

It is noteworthy that the proportion of peer group pressure causing poor attendance shared the same amount with the data for bullying at specifically 15%, being three-eighths that of both parents working. Furthermore, they are 10% lower than the school discipline lacking percentage and 10% higher than that of upbringing.
