The bar graph illustrates all the numbers of minutes of calls by telephone in the UK, in three different ways (local - fixed line, national and International - fixed line, mobiles) between 1995 and 2002.

Overall, the usage of the local-fixed line has seen the highest figures in each of the years in spite of its fluctuations. Although both other types increased, the figures of national and international - fixed line were over the numbers of mobile calls over the period given.

The number of minutes spent by local - fixed calls had an upward trend from 70 billion to 90 billion during the first four years of the report given. Then it peaked in 1999 and after that, this number started to slightly plunge to approximately above 70 billion in 2002.

On the other hand, during this period, the number of minutes of calls which occurred by national and international - the fixed line had a slight decrease from below 40 billion to just over 60 billion. Regarding the minutes spent on calls by mobiles, this number was under 10 from 1995 to 1998, then it climbed sharply. To be more exact, from 1995 to 1998 this number was under 10, following 1998, this number witnessed a considerable growth until 2002 and it reached a high of 60 billion in the last year.
