The graph provides information about the sum of three different phone call duration in the United Kingdom between 1995 and 2002. Overall, there was a significant increase of the duration of the total call on national and international and cellular during the reported years while, the local –fixed call in 1999 was observed as the highest figure on UK’s total call.
The local – fixed call was reported as the highest figure among the other types of call. In first years, it stood at about 73 million. Then, in the three following years, the number increased about 5 million each year and reach the peak figure in 1999 (90 million). Following which, it saw a moderate change and reach just below 80 million in the last year.
In 1995, the figure for the national and international call was half that of the local call. Then, it experienced a small increase (around 4 million a year) from 1996 to 2001 and finished the period at approximately 65 million in 2002. Furthermore, the figure for the mobile call was the lowest among the other two. it stood just below 5 million in 1995 and accounted for just about 48 million in 2002.
