The chart shows the different ways of dealing with the garbage in four countries
The bar chart illustrates how to dispose of the garbage through four different ways in Netherlands、Italy、Spain and the UK.
It is clear that the most frequent way of coping with garbage used by the UK、Italy and Spain is landfill.(60%、about 50% and 45% respectively)While the number in Netherlands is just around 5%.
However, more than 40% of garbage is recycled in Netherlands which ranks the first among four countries, next come Spain and UK (about 30%). The measure of burning garbage accounts for 40% in Netherlands, which is twice as much as that of in Italy and Spain. The proportion of biologically treated in Netherlands is about 10%, with UK following closely. The figure of that in Italy is the same as in Spain.
Overall, most of the garbage is dealt with through landfill in Italy、Spain and the UK, whereas Netherlands prefers recycling.
