The bar chart compares and contrasts data on the changes in the number of students whether they finished their theses on time or not which was researched in 1990, 2000 and 2010.
A closer look at the diagram highlights a clear fact that a great deal of students finished their dissertation projects within the given time, whereas the others summited late or rewrote or simply were unable to write one.
More specifically, students completing their theses on time witnessed the same upward trend as the one completing them late. These figures starting from 150 and 25 students experienced a two-fold increase and finished at roughly 300 and 50 students for on-time submission and late submission respectively in 2010. Meanwhile, the opposite trend is true for the number of students failing to write, it was recorded that this figure decreased gradually to only approximately 13 students in 2010. On the other hand, students forced to rewrite their dissertation projects saw an increase of about 20 students and reached its peak at 30 students in 2000. However, at the end of the period, this figure experienced a slight drop and stayed at 25 students which was the same as that of late submission in 2000.
