The chart illustrates the rate of two sex in one Asian country who passed after they finished their driving test from 1980 to 2010.
Overall, Women and Men experienced an upward trend.Although Men inititally had a lower rate.
The proportion of Women was in 1980 was around 45%, being higher than Men's rate by approximately 10%. Then , it rose slowly to about 52% in 1999. Moreover, it went up slightly to almost 70% in 2000. However, the percentages of Women dropped dramatically to nearly 60 % in 2010
The percentages of Men was less 30% in 1980 and it increased slightly to approximately 40%. Furthermore, the figure experienced a steady growth during the next two years. It jumped to around 48% in 2000, then reached a plateau in 2010. However, the proportion of Men who passed their driving test in 2010 was lower than the proportion of Women who passed it.
