The charts below give information on the ages of the populations of Yemen and Italy in 2000 and projections for 2050.
Depicted by the charts is the information about how many people in three different age categories live in Yemen and Italy from 2000 to 2050.
Overall, it is apperant that in 2000 people living both in Italy and Yemen were dominated by people aged15-59 years old. Additionally, it is predicted that this age still is likely to show its superiority over the other categories.
During the period, the figure for people in Yemen aged 0-14 years old and up to 60 years old was predicted to increase. While the former stood at 46.3% (2000), and then it is projected to increase dramatically by 11% (2050), the letter accounted for 3.6% in 2000, and its number is likely to have a slight rise to 5.7%. By contrast, 60+ years category took a half proportion in 2000, it is projected to drop to 37% a half century later.
In Italy, the age population seems different. The level of people aged 15-59 years, 60+ years, and 0-14 years old stood at over three-fifths, less than a quarter, and less than a fifth severally. While the age of 15-59 and 0-14 years old number is projected to decline, dropping to 46.2% and 11.5% each, the figure for up to 60 years old is predictedto have dramatic rise, soaring to 42.3% by 2050.
