The pie charts below demonstrate the typical meals in the USA and averagely how much they consist of three types of nutrients, namely, sodium, saturated fat and added sugar. Also, it should be noted that if they are eaten too much, may have bad effects on your health. With that in mind, the meals which is mentioned are breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

As, it can be observed from charts, the biggest segment is 43% which indicates the percentage of sodium in the dinner, where for both breakfast and snacks, it is same as 14% and the remained sodium is the most among others nutrients at the same meals. Share of added sugar in the snacks is 42% where it halved for the saturated fat, but for the breakfast, both together would have same amount which is 16%.

Saturated fat based on the its shares of all meals other than breakfast is on the 2th rank, where it is 37% for dinner and 26% for lunch. Along with this, added sugar for the implied meals is 23% and 19%.

To sum it up, the biggest proportion for meals are 43% and 29% sodium for dinner and lunch, 42% of snacks composition is added sugar.
