The provided three pie charts represent an overview of average percentages of Sodium, Saturated fats and Added Sugars consumed in the four different meals in the USA.
Overall, the highest percentages of sodium and saturated fats used in the dinner, while the greatest sugar added in the snacks. In addition, the lowest amount of all three types of nutrients used in the breakfast.
In dinner, a significant amount of sodium and saturated fats were consumed by Americans and it was 43% and 37% respectively. However, sugar was used by 23%. In contrast, the lowest percentages of all three nutrients consumed in breakfast and it was 14%, 16% and 16% in sodium, saturated fats and added sugar respectively.
Furthermore, Americans consumed the vast percentage of sugar in snack’s meal and there was 42%; Whereas, 14% of sodium and 21% of saturated fats used in snacks. Meanwhile, in the meal of lunch, sodium, saturated fats and added sugar consumed by 29%, 26% and 19% respectively.
