The pie chart compare the proportions of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar consumed in four typical meals of American people.
It is clear that the unhealthiest meals are at dinner and snack for consuming too much sodium, saturated fat and added sugar. Breakfast is the healthiest meal compared to others.
Americans eat the large number of sodium and saturated fat at dinner accounted for 43% and 37%, respectively. Likewise, the highest consumption of added sugar is at snack numbered at 42%.
In contrast, breakfast is the healthiest meal which is only around 16% in consuming three nutrients. In case of lunch, this is less healthy than breakfast but still healthier than dinner and snack. The figure of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar at lunch is higher than that at breakfast but still lower much than the data of that at dinner and snack with 29%, 26% and 19%, respectively.
