Generally from the trends showed in the charts, it indicates that by the rising of percentage of households wiht electrical appliances, the average time of housework per week has been reducing until 2019 when the data visualization ends.
As showed in the households electrical appliances proprotions charts, there are three main appliances presented to us. For the washing machine, its increasment goes mildly from 1920 with 40%.As it peaked at 1960 with 70%, there was a small decline to nearly 65%, then it went to increasing little, until 2019 it reached 75%.As for the other two, they boomed fast from a low percentage at first with 30% for fridge and almost zero for the vancuum cleaner.However, the proportion of households of refrigerator outdid the washing machine after 1940 and kept on increasing at approxmately 100% after 1980. So did the vancuum cleaner which catched up with wahcing machine in the year 1960 and rised to 100% after 2000.
For the number of hours of housework per week of each household, the trend declined from the beginning in 1920 with 50 hours per week. In 2019, it reduced to 10 hours.
