Overall, ownership of these electrical appliances show an upward trend in particular refrigerators and vacuum cleansers, throughout the given period. The amount of time spent on household chores declined dramatically.
As is presented in the first line graph, the percentage of refrigerators experienced the most significant in rise. It started from a tiny portion with 0% on 1920 to more than 50% in 1950 and reached 90% in 1960. In general, within 60 years, the proportion of families which have 3 genres of the given item rapidly. It was steadily rising and hit 10% in 1980. With the vacuum cleansers, these were higher than refrigerators about 30%, which increased by 20% every 20 years from 1920 to 1980. The data in 1980 tripled the one in 1920 which was exactly 90% and approached a very large potion 100% . Washing machine - the last equipment type was the highest about 40% in 1920 and grow up to 70% in 1960. However, there was a drop by 10% in period of 20 years from 1960 and then recovered more than 70% for the lasy phase.
Meanwhile, in 1920, the numbers of hours for housework was about 50 hours per week and then fell sharply 20 hours every week after 20 years later and gradual decline to 10 hours on weekly basis in 2019.
