Given are the two pie charts delineating the proportion of employees in three distinct fields, namely manufacturings, sales and services in Town A and Town B in two certain years: 1960 and 2010.
Perceptibly, there was a significant movement in the rate of people who worked in manufacturings and sales to services area in town A during 50 years mentioned. Meanwhile, notwithstanding an obvious plunge, manufacturing was likely to dominate in that rate in town B.
During the course of time, in town A, there was a drastic leap in the percentage of services employees from 29% to 64%, while the reverse was true for both manufacturing and sales when further 21% and 14% diminutions to 20% and 16% were recorded respectively in the last year. Strikingly, the services industry attracted by far the most workers compared to the rest over the shown period.
When it comes to the rate of employees in town B, manufacturing and services experienced the opposite directions with a dramatic slump by 17% of the former from 70% and a surge by 15% of the latter from 10% within 50 years reported. Moreover, sales, with 20% in 1960 standing from the second in terms of the rate of people working in, became the least common sector despite a slight escalation by 2% in the last year recorded.
