The charts below show the percentage of water used for different purposes in six different areas of the world. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The six pie charts illustrate the distribution of water used for three main purposes in industry, agriculture, and domestic uses, which correspond with six typical areas in the world. Overall, a huge amount of water is served for the industry and farming while household use takes a little amount of water.
As can be seen from the picture, in the industrial field, Europe is the area which uses the highest amount of water, taking 53 %, followed by North America with a slightly lower 48%. In the other regions such as South East Asia, South America, Africa, and central Asia, the total amount is much less than 15%, taking 12%, 10%, 7%, and 5% respectively.
The demand for using water in agriculture is different in each area, central Asia is on top with 88%, Africa, South East Asia, and South America is the next one with 84%, 81%, 71% respectively. Finally, around one-third of the water is used in North America and Europe.
Lately, in the domestic field, South America is the region which has the highest water provision, for 19%, whereas central Asia and South East Asia witness the lowest percentage, both equally 7%.
