First of all, it is clear that the consumption of water for agriculture is the majority in South America, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia, while water use for industrial purposes is the lowest part, except for South America. On the contrary, North America and Europe mainly focuse on industry.
South America, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia utilise water for residental and industrial purposes relatively the same, but in South America domestic use is a little bit higher than industrial use than the others. Moreover, the fuction of water in North America and Europe is totally different from the others , industrial use in North America and Europe is five times and a half as much as the remaining areas, two times for household consumption.
