The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in English who were able to speak other languages in addition to English in 200 and 2010

The pie charts illustrate the percentages of British students who can speak different languages as well as English at one University in England.
Overall, we can see that the highest portion was belong to students who do not knew any other language through the periods given. However, the number of students who can speak 2 languages or another language, rose in the final year. Those who knew only German remained the same.
The number of pupils who did not learn other language increased from 30% in 2000 to 35% in 2010. Followed by those who can talk another language which was 15% in 2000 and rose to 20% latter. Moreover, there was a slight growth of the proportion of students that they can speak two other languages in 2000 and 2010 ( 10% and 15% respectively).
On the other hand, there was a dramatical decline of pupils who speak spanish only ( 20% to 10% respectively). Also, the number of students who speak german remained equial through the periodes given.
