The charts below show proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The charts above provide information regarding British students' language skills at one university in England from 2000 to 2010.

It is clear that British students' language competence improved. The obvious evidence is that the proportion o people who did not know other languages had a fall. In addition, Spanish was the common language, except for English.

To be specific, over a period of ten years, the number of students did not have other languages fell down from 20% to 10%. Besides, the percentage of students knew two other languages increased by 5% (went up from 10% to 15%), an impressive number for a university. Moreover, it looks like British students were interested more in Spanish and another language so the figure for these slightly risen, which were 35% and 20% in 2010 respectively. Specialty, the number of people who can speak Spanish were always highest in comparison with it of different languages.

In contrast, there was a fall in the number of students talked French, which went down from 15% to 10%. Eventually, the percentage of people were able to speak German remained with 10%.
