The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010.

The charts below display the percentages of the British Students to speak in English and in other languages over the past years.

Overall, it is obvious that the proportion of the university students in Britain who are speaking Spanish compared to their local language is more.

It is obvious that the percentage of the university students who are speaking English only have decreased to half the percentage in 2010 than in 2000. On the other hand, the students who learnt Spanish have increased their percentage by 5% in 2010 while for those who are speaking French have decreased to 10% than the original number in 2000.

In contrast, the percentage of the students who spoke fluently German language remained unchanged. Luckily, the British students in the university who learnt another foreignlanguage increased by 5% which is also noticed when learning other two foreign languages.
