The charts below show the proportions of British students at one university in England who were able to speak other languages in addition to English, in 2000 and 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given sets of charts illustrates the ability if students who could speak other languages apart form their native language during 2000 and 2010.
Overall the percentage of students speaking Spanish has risen by 5 percent still dominating the crowd other than English language speakers.

On the other hand, the percent of students speaking German has declined by 5 percent during the decade. Meanwhile another language (not specified) has also gained prominence by rising the bar by 5 percent.
Also the proportion of students who never had any inclination towards learning other languages during 2000 has come down by 10% which means it has become an important part of syllabus to learn an additional language in addition to their native one.

Finally, the more percent of students are found interested in learning not only one but two other languages in addition to English which would enable them to be more linguistically diverse.
