Given are the two bar chart depicting the number of graduate and postgraduate students who were not employed for full-time professional after receiving the university degree in UK in the year 2008.
Perceptibly, the total number of graduates exceeds the postgraduates for thousands of students.
Regarding the destination of graduates, further study had by far the most favorite choice for these students, in reverse, the voluntary work accounted for the least number of students which are nearly 30000 and 3500 students respectively. Meanwhile, the number of students applying for part-time job was corresponding with the unemployment students with nearly 17000 students recorded.
In terms of the postgraduates, part-time professional and further study ranked first in the number of students with nearly 2600 students. Otherwise, the unemployment students exceeds the volunteer students for 5 times with 1600 students in recorded.
To conclude, the number of graduates is much higher than the figure of postgraduates and further study is the most popular way for these students.
