The charts give information on the ages of the populations of Yemen and Italy in 2000 and projections for 2050.
The charts demonstrate three age groups of the inhabitants of two nations which are Yemen and Italy in 2000 and projections for 2050.
Overall, it is clear that the population of Yemen were considerately young in 2000 and this tendency is predicted to be fairly declined in the future. Conversely, Italian was much older in comparison with its counterpart and population aging is anticipated to grow in the next 50 years.
With regard to Yemen, percentage of children group (0-14 years) took account for half of the population, however, this group appears to see a small decrease in 2050, down to 37%. Whilst the group of teenager and middle age (15-59 years) is forecasted to rise by 11% and reach 57.3%. The senior group (60+ years) will also experience the similar trend.
Meanwhile, in Italy, both proportions of teenager and middle age group and children group will drop with estimated figures as 46.2% and 11.5% respectively. By contrast, the oldest group is going to increase significantly and hit 42.3% by 2050.
