The pie chart shows the different types of public transport which is prefer by the public and the table explains the reason behind using these transports in the Edmonton.

It is clear from the chart that, car is the most popular means of transport in this city. 45% of the people like to drive by the car. Whereas, light rail transit is the second most popular means of transport with 35%. Similarly, the bus and taxi remain constant as 10%.

Moving towards the table chart, surprisingly, 55% of the people use to drive the car for commute to work. Cars are also used a lot for taking children to school and business purposes with 40% and 45%. Further, 15% of the people are using car for shopping and leisure activities.

To sum up, people in Edmonton make good use of alternative methods of transport but there is heavy dependence on cars for work.
