The diagram below shows the floor plan of a public library 20 years ago and how it looks now.
The given diagram depicts how a central has been developed between 20 years ago and present day
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the central library has undergone remarkable modification and reorganization with encompassing the addition of more recreational facilities and more blank space.
From 2 decades ago until now, the children’s books room has been moved to the opposite corner on the left side and expanded to allow for two sofas and storytelling events. Below, there used to be a place for adult fiction books, but now it has been converted into a place for finding some kind of books to consult. Additionally, the reading room containing newspapers and magazines situated next to the entrance to the library has been transformed into a room for computer systems.
In the middle of the library, there was two groupings of tables and chairs 20 years ago, which now has been eliminated to make more blank space for the library. Next to the entrance on the right side of the library, the addition of café has taken the place of enquiry desk for asking for book returns and purchasing tickets. Above it, there an adult non-fiction books space has been reconstructed with the addition of three self-service machines, a desk for asking information and adult fiction books. The initial former location of the children’s area located on the top right corner is a room for lectures now.
