By and large, a weather forecast is produced through 4 stages, starting with collecting data and ending with broadcasting.
Firstly, the information can be directly collected from satellite, radar and drifting buoy or transmitted from satellite to radar. In step two, each type of information from different sources is analyzed and demonstrated in three diagrams with different coverage or forecasting range. While data from satellite and drifting buoy is only represented by satellite photo and synoptic chart respectively, radar can produce analytical results in both radar screen and synoptic chart. When the results of analysis and forecast are available, the professionals will aggregate to prepare for broadcasting. Weather forecasts will be brought to everyone through various broadcasting media including TV by newsreader, radio or landline by recording the announcement.
