The diagram below illustrates the process for making coffee from coffee beans. It takes number of steps to go from coffee beans on the trees to the coffee we can drink at home.
First of all, the ripe coffee beans on the plants are manually harvested. Then, they are sent to the depulper, which seperates the seeds from the cover of the beans. After being sent to the depulper, coffee beans are soaked into the water in fementing tanks in one to three days. Next, the farmers dry the beans by lay them on the soil, which has been ploughed. The dryed beans are put on sorters on which those beans are sorted carefully. Then, the beans go through the roaster, which roasted them by heat. Before the beans are loaded onto trucks and transported to the grocery store, they are grinded into powder by a grinder. Finally, the consumer mixes the coffee powder with water and enjoys a delicious cup of coffee.
