The diagram below shows how to make fertilizer or compost by recycling organic waste.
To begin the process changing organic waste to fertilizer, first, preparing a plastic container which required volume is 2 cubic meters. The air is needed to turning the organic waste to compost so that many air holes are created vertically on the bottle wall to ventilate air in and out the inside of the bottle. The next step is putting organic garbage into the bottle. News paper, grass and wasted food is added in. Each of the layer are 15 centimeters thick. At the following stage, nitrogen and hot water are being added with the previous added waste to create the mixture of solid waste, liquid and air.
Afterward, the mouth of the bottle is sealed with the lid. The mixture is left there for 6 months. During 6 months, the decomposition are happened and the heat with air ventilates through the vents which have been created before. After 6 months, the organic waste totally transform to fertilizer which can be use for the garden.
Overall, the process of converting organic waste to compost takes 5 step and 6 months to completely convert.
