The picture illustrates how a honey bee developed.

There are six main steps in the development of the honey bee beginning with the eggs and ending with the mature bee.

In the first stage, life cycle of a honey bee starts when the female bee mates, they lay one or two eggs every three days. From nine and ten days, eggs hatch and the immature insect appears. After hatching, 5 days later, the nymph grows in size and sheds its skin three times.

In the following stage, we can see considerable development of the honey bee. They are much bigger seven days and nine days later. After a total of 30 to 31 days from the start of the cycle, the young adult honey bee emerges from its final moulting stage, and in the space of only four days, it reaches full maturity.
