It can be seen that the process has seven stages, beginning with digging the clay and ending with the delivery of bricks to customers.
First, clay is dug up by a big digger. To eliminate the oversized pieces, clay is placed on a metal grid and the smaller pieces drop onto a large roller. At the next stage, clay now joins with sand and water to make bricks. Bricks are shaped by using a wire cutter or a mold. After that, bricks are put into an oven to dry for one to two days.
Next, these are fired in a special kiln at the moderate temperature at 200 to 980 degrees Celsius. Afterward, the bricks continue to be heated for the second time at a higher temperature (870 – 1300 degree Celsius) in another kiln. Bricks are then cooled down in a cooling chamber for 48 to 72 hours. Finally, they are packed and loaded to trucks to transports to customers.
