The diagrams below show the changes that have taken place at West Park Secondary School since its construction in 1950.

Given are the three maps delineating alteration of the West Park Secondary School from three distinct years: 1950, 1980 and 2010.
Perceptibly, there were drastic transformations accorded mostly to the west side of the maps with different buildings and replacements. However, to the right-hand side of the maps, it was unchanged with the school but it was a shrinking of playground size.
In 1950, use school as a landmark which settled down right on the north-east side of the map, on the left-hand side, it was the houses, and right beneath it was farmland. The playground with the gray theme is to the right bottom. The top of the map is a road.
Thirty years later, it was unchanged at the east of maps which is still the same. The big area of houses gave the way to the car park and science block. A sports field was built right on the farmland. The school and the playground didn't replace with anything.
In 2010, huge changes occurred, the playground got smaller to leave the place to the sports field because of the expansion of the carpark. The school and the science block stayed unchanged.
