The flow charts illustrate the process of cement and concrete production for construction purposes. Overall, there are five main stages in the process of making cement beginning with crushing limestone and clay and ending with packing cement in bags. Moreover, cement can be mixed with three other ingredients to make concrete.
The first diagram shows how cement was made. To begin with, limestone and clay are crushed into powders then mixed it together in the mixer. After that, it is transferred to the rotating heating where heat is supplied. The products released from heating are grinded by a grinder. Afterwards, it becomes cement and ready for packing in bags.
The second diagram presents the concrete production by using cement. This production is very simple by put all ingredients included cement, water, sand and small stone into the concrete mixer. Then, it ready to use.
In conclusion, the cement production is more complicated with more ingredient compared to the concrete production.
