The first chart below gives information about the money spent by British parents on their children’s sports between 2008 and 2014. The second chart shows the number of children who participated in three sports in Britain over the same time period.

These graphs show the sports monthly spending and the different sports that British children are able to choose between 2008 to 2014. This divided into 2 different line graphs. Overall, the trend of annual spending for children sports risen and the favorable spot over 6 years was football.

In 2008, parents only spend 20 pounds every month to make their children became healthy. But, in the next few years, they needed to pay more on children’s sports until it reached a peak in 2014. It accounted for more than 30 pounds at the end of 2014.

The children also had several alternatives for them to did sport. There was football, swimming, and athletics. Since 2008, football became the best sport that children choose compared to the other 2 sports. In the next 2 years, football demand slightly reduced while swimming rate still grew and an athletics started to increase. Between 2010 to 2012, athletics took a big change and had the same amount of children with swimming. In the next year, athletics numbers reached 5 million of children and beated the amount of swimming. In the end, athletics still had more amount of children that participated. However, swimming could maintain the number and reached more than 2.5 million participations in 2014.
