Essay topics:

The first chart below shows the number of British visitors to the US and American visitors to the UK from 2011 to 2015. The second chart shows the amount spent by those visitors in that period

The first bar chart illustrates how many British tourists to the US and American travelers to the UK between 2011 and 2015, and the second bar chart demonstrates how much money visitors spent in the period in question.
Overall, looking at the two charts, it is immediately obvious that both the number of UK tourists coming to US and the proportion of their expenditure were higher than those of US people. It is also notable that, an upward trend was seen in the figure for the amount spent on tourism to the two countries in each one.
According to the first chart, the volume of UK people visiting the US was higher than that of the US tourists to the UK, with about 3250 thousand and 2750 thousand in 2011. Although there were slight declines in the number of UK and US visitors, with roughly 3000 in the former and 2500 in the latter in 2013, those figures gradually went up by about 500 thousand people at the end of the period shown.
With the respect to the expenditure by these tourists, the UK people spent nearly 4000 million on traveling to the US and the American’s expense of the UK tour was under 3000 million. There were relatively no changes in those figures until the year 2014 that witnessed a dramatic growth in the amount spent by these countries and they went on increasing steadily in 2015.
