The graph below shows the employment rate of each gender in four different countries in 2002.

The bar chart illustrates the levels of employments of two sexes in four countries namely South Africa, Chile, Finland, Norway in the year 2022.
Overall, it can be seen that the proportion of male employees was higher than that of female in all four countries. It is also notable that the proportion of employees in the two genders in Norway was both higher than that in the others.
Looking at the graph more closely, one can see that the quantity of Norwegian men in work was the dominant, accounting for almost 80%, whereas that of male employees in South Africa was the lowest, at 50% over the period shown. Meanwhile, the figures for Chilean and Finnish men staffs were close behind, at roughly 70%.
As was the case with men, the proportions of women employees in Norway and Finland were relatively evenly distributed, at around 70%. Likely, the amount of women in workforce in South Africa registered about 38%, which was equal to that in Chile.
