The bar graph illustrates the proportion of people eating at fast food restaurants in the USA in 2003, 2006 and 2013.
Overall, the majority of people used to eat at a fast food restaurant once a week or once or twice a month over the period given.
In 2003, 31% of people are eating at a fast food restaurant once a week which increased to 33% in 2006 before declining to 28% by 2013. However, the ratio of people who are eating once or twice a month at these restaurants is 30% in 2003 and 25% in 2006 which climbed to 33% by the end of the given period.
Those who are eating fast food several times a week was approximately 17% in 2003 and after three years the frequency climbed to 20% however which decreased to 16% by 2013. Likewise, among American citizens, 5% of people never tried to eat at fast food restaurants in 2003, and later the frequency decreased to 3% in the next given years. Meanwhile, below 5% of people are eating in fast food restaurants every day in the whole given period. Moreover, the percentage of people eating at fast food restaurants a few times a year was 13% in 2003 which remained the same as 20% in 2006 and 2013.
